Athletics

We learn just as much on the court as we do in the classroom.  Led by expert coaches in basketball, hockey and soccer, our students internalize the importance of leadership, communication, hard work, persistence and of course teamwork.  We offer the following after school athletic opportunities for our Middle School Students:

Metropolitan Yeshiva Day School Athletic Leagues
Our students participate in three athletic leagues: Basketball, Hockey and Soccer. Our teams
are led by experienced coaches including former Olympic athletes. Teams are divided by
gender and grade.

NSHA/Great Neck Synagogue Basketball League
In addition to the MYDL, we partner with NSHA and Great Neck Synagogue in a Middle School
aged basketball league where students practice skills and drills and play intramural games.

Intramural Girls Basketball
Led by our PhysEd teacher, Coach Chris Corey, students practice skills and drills and play
intramural games.
