As they discover how art influences – and is influenced by – the world around us, students grow their artistic abilities and express themselves through what they create.

NSHA’s art studios are a safe and inviting space for creativity and collaboration – and a place where every student has the ability to be an artist. Our dedicated, imaginative art teacher shares her love of art with her students through a curriculum that highlights the important role art plays historically and in all of our lives.

Our students study traditional and contemporary artists from around the globe to learn about artistic vision and inspiration, art history, color theory, artistic mediums, and more. As they learn and create, they develop their literacy skills, mathematical skills, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving skills.
